What is Edge of Reason?
Edge of Reason is a radio show which explores the paranormal world with a wry eye and an informed look at things that are currently unexplained. Though they take the topic seriously Jinks and Monty don't mind poking a bit of fun at themselves or some of the more crazy stuff that comes through the internet's paranormal portals (e.g. Big Foot tickle fights - need we say more?!).
Who hosts Edge of Reason?
Paranormal aficionados Jinks and Monty team up to take you to the very edge of reason itself where they apply their wide experience and critical faculties to try to explain the unexplained. Between them they hold four degrees in analytical philosophy and have decades of experience in researching, investigating, assessing and analysing anomalous phenomena. Here they are engaging in the usual weekly antics in the Edge Radio studio where there is nearly always something curious to explore whether it be the a new UFO sighting video or the latest in tin foil hat fasion.
What do they talk about?
The usual preserve of the freaky and geeky - UFOS, ghosts, poltergeists, crop circles, ESP and PK - are all up for perusal. But don't be afraid. Over the seven years the show has been on air, they have discovered that the non-paranormal world is a much more frightening place than the paranormal one. Ghosts don't hurt people, people hurt people.
WHAT DO THEY MAKE OF IT?
The show advocates a scientific approach to explaining the phenomena. More specifically, once you rule out normal explanations what you are left with is evidence for anomalous events that require further investigation.

This material contains paranormal themes. It is more enjoyable if you bring along a healthy sense of humour and the ability to help critically appraise the paranormal.
If, in contrast, you are a dogmatic blinkered skeptic with high blood pressure there is a danger the show might give you a heart attack. Jinks and Monty suggest you find another show, or you could try putting your fingers in your ears. Same goes for the credulous believer brigade. If you have a picture of an orb that you think might be a ghost please send it elsewhere.
EOR on demand
Apparently Jinks and Monty have been lolling around in the dark ages, expecting listeners to drop everything to tune in at noon on Saturdays when you have all got other things to do. So, they have bowed to the pressure and decided to bring EOR into the on demand era and provide a version you can listen to any time you like.
So, go get yourselves a nice hot cup of something, kick off your shoes, put on your tin foil hat and get comfy because here, at long last, from July 2011 we'll be giving you the option to listen to EOR on demand.
